One of the most popular bands to emerge of late from the rich red dirt of the Tulsa scene, Dane Arnold & the Soup boasts frontman Dane Arnold’s soaring crooning vocals, the fiery southern jazz guitar licks of Johnny Mullenax, the rhythm of pocket-specialist Matt Teegarden on drums, and bassist Jordan Hehl’s low-end melodies and acute vocal harmonies. As trumpeter, Bishop Marsh contributes textural horn swells and virtuostic solo precision to the mix. Just over a year after its initial EP release, the band plans to debut its first full-length on Horton Records this summer.
